【跑車世界獨家專訪】Timo,see you in Shanghai! ——法國勒芒24小時,在你拿下全場總冠軍時,我們現場約定上海見!上周末,小丘期待已久的WEC上海6小時在上賽開戰,祝賀保時捷提前一站衛冕WEC年度廠商和車手總冠軍,也再次祝賀你拿下了第二個年度總冠軍。賽前小編對這位勒芒冠軍車手——Timo Bernhard進行了面對面的獨家專訪,下面就看看超級賽車粉和頂級賽車手都聊了什么話題。
Last weekend, a long-awaited WEC Shanghai 6h started. Congratulations to Porsche and Timo Bernhard! An early title decision at round eight of nine on the FIA World Endurance Championship WEC calendar last Sunday. The second driver’s world championship in the WEC for Timo Bernhard after 2015. Before race, we interviewed the two-time Le Mans Winner: Timo Bernhard.

【保時捷第19個勒芒冠軍】
Q: Back at Le Mans, when I witnessed you crossing the finish line and claiming the 19th overall win for Porsche (your second overall Le Mans win), I was so emotional that I cried. And later when I watched the video of the race, thru the screen I saw your tears , too. Was this your first cry in your career? Could you share the feeling of that moment?
小丘:在勒芒,我看到你沖過終點線,為保時捷贏得第19冠的那一刻,我感動得哭了。當再次回看比賽視頻,我發現你也落淚了,這是你職業生涯第一次落淚嗎?能和我們分享一下那一刻的心情嗎?
Timo: Yes, it’s true it’s the first time I actually cried in the race car. It was such a moment. Also I think two things came together. One was like a dream coming true to win Le Mans overall for Porsche. And the second one was also how the race went because we are starting the racing with a promising position we are the leader, I was good with good confidence and the start was ok. And then with this problem early on which looks like with no possibility of winning any more so it was really hearted for us. Then we just drove and pushed like hell and in the end you know, you still achieve something which seems not possible so it was very deep emotions. It was like roller-coaster. It’s something that not many people could achieve so it was very very special which I will always remember.
Timo:確實,那是我賽車職業生涯第一次流淚,因為那是非常值得記憶的時刻。首先,我們實現了為保時捷贏得勒芒總冠軍的夢想。其次,整個比賽過程非常曲折,我們在比賽前期一直處于領先位置,順利的開始讓我們對整場比賽非常有信心。但是后來發生的那次故障很讓人傷心,我們好像已經沒有了奪冠的機會!最后,我們只能用盡全力向前不斷推進再推進,終于完成了一個看起來不可能完成的任務,整個比賽過程非常令人激動,心情就像坐過山車一樣。這不是很多人都能做到的,所以具有非常特殊的意義,我也會一直銘記。

【Timo /?Team75 Bernhard】
Q: After Le Mans 24h, I saw you fly to Goodwood Festival of Speed, and then fly to SPA 24 hours for your own team (Team75 Bernhard). I think many friends want to know the difference between a factory driver and team owner?
小丘:勒芒的比賽以后,你還去了古德伍德速度節,然后又飛去參加斯帕,帶領自己的車隊參加斯帕24小時耐力賽。很多朋友都想知道你這兩種身份——廠隊車手和車隊老板之間有何區別呢?
Timo: Something completely different for sure, but something which could be combined in the future. I mean I’m in very great relationship with Porsche for a long career, nearly 20 years. So I started a team a couple of years ago and now also try to move it up to the rings. The latter fit very well and I have to thank Porsche for giving me support and trust as a team owner. We‘re a young team but I mean in SPA 24h we did very very good. I think the team has a brightfuture.
Timo:這肯定是完全不同的,將來可能會將兩者結合起來。在職業生涯中,我與保時捷一直保持著很好的關系,大約有20年了。幾年前,我才開始組建自己的車隊(2010年成立Team75 Bernhard),現在就是努力推動車隊更進一步的向前發展。我覺得后者非常適合我,也非常感謝保時捷給予我們車隊支持和信任。我們車隊還很年輕,但在今年的斯帕24小時比賽中做的非常好,這是一支非常優秀的車隊,有著光明的前景。

【Team75 Bernhard】
Q: Yes, I saw that race, Team75 won 4th place. Which race will your team (Team75)plan to attend next year?I know the team will go for the ADAC GT Masters and other 24-hour race like SPA or Nurburgring.
小丘:我看了那場比賽(Team75首次參加斯帕24小時),你的車隊獲得了全場第四名。你的車隊明年準備參加什么比賽?我知道Team75會繼續參加ADAC GT Masters及其他24小時耐力賽,比如斯帕和紐格柏林嗎?
Timo: Yes, I would definitely go for GT Masters again for this German GT championship which is very good. It’s developing very well. And we plan to do the SPA 24h again. And we plan as well to do the Nurburgring 24h, but it’s not 100% sure, but it’s something we would like to do. I wanna be more involved with the team to help the team developing. But for sure I will stay in Porsche also as a driver. So it’s the future it’s gonna be. And definitely it’s a different thing if you are not driving or if you are a team owner, because the last decision I have to take to be able to steer the team for good future, but you have to take different actions of being a driver. It’s a different job but I like it.
Timo:是的,我們一定還會參加ADAC GT Masters,這項在德國舉行的GT賽事發展得非常好。我們還計劃再參加一次斯帕24小時耐力賽,紐格柏林24小時耐力賽也有計劃參加,但后者并不是100%的確定。我希望有更多時間和車隊一起工作,幫助車隊快速的成長。但我肯定還會繼續做保時捷廠隊車手,未來的計劃大概就是這樣。當然,當你不參加比賽或者你是車隊老板的時候,情況就完全不一樣。作為車隊的管理者,你需要為車隊做更好的發展規劃,這和車手需要做的事情完全不一樣,雖然這是兩種不同的工作,但二者我都很喜歡。

Timo: Maybe in a couple of years. We never know, step by step. Keep your fingers crossed for us.
Timo:或許幾年后吧,我們永遠不知道未來會怎樣,一步步來,為我們祝福吧。

【賽車手Timo Bernhard】
Q: When you were only 10 years old, you won the first title at the Junior Karting. Can you share some childhood stories of yourself?
小丘:當你只有10歲的時候就贏得了青少年卡丁車賽冠軍,你能和我們分享一下你的童年故事嗎?
Timo: I just turned 10 and I started the first race probably at just 9. I’m always a big fan of motor sport, following everything of Formula 1. The time of 80s was not like now – it was more limited. My father was a racing driver, a hobby racing driver, always paid for it. But I was always with him. I think at the age of 5, I was already at Nordschleife watching and seeing my dad race. I was always a big fan of motor sport. So at 10 years old age when I was possible to do go-karting, he reminded me. He said:“Ok, there was possibility.” So I went and fell in love. I mean to be honest as a young kid I wanted to be a racing driver myself but I didn’t know how it works. When you are young you don’t know what to find money and sponsor-ship. You don’t care. You just want to drive. Just like drive.
Timo:是的,我剛滿10歲就贏得了青少年卡丁車賽冠軍,而在9歲時就開始了第一場比賽。我從小是賽車運動的狂熱愛好者,追隨有關F1的一切,上個世紀80年代不像現在,那時候條件很有限。我父親是一名賽車手,一名業余付費車手。我當時也希望成為一名賽車手,所以我就一直和他在一起。在我5歲的時候,我就在紐北觀看我父親的比賽。因為我非常熱愛賽車運動,所以當我年滿10歲可以開卡丁車比賽的時候,老爸說:“那就試試唄?!庇谑俏揖腿L試并愛上了賽車運動。老實說,我只知道我要成為一名賽車手,小時候不知道如何做,年輕的時候又不知道如何籌集資金或去哪里可以拉到贊助。然而,這些都不在乎,就是想開車,就是喜歡開車。

【賽車手Timo Bernhard】
Q: You became Porsche factory driver when you were only 21 years old and won the GT class at Le Mans. You got your first Le Mans over-all win in 2010, and built a new distance record of 5410 km. I’m proud of you. I want to know which race is most impressive in your career?
小丘:你在21歲的時候就成了保時捷廠隊車手并且當年就贏得了勒芒24小時耐力賽GT組別的冠軍。2010年你贏得了第一個勒芒總冠軍,并創造了5410公里的里程新記錄(至今無人打破這個勒芒24小時耐力賽的里程記錄)。我想知道在你的職業生涯中哪場比賽令你印象最深刻?
Timo: Probably Le Mans this year because like I said, starting at normal, and then we hit the bottom. And did something that was impossible. (from P54 to P1) It’s probably the most incredible and if you get the victory after you didn’t think about it anymore, that‘s something special. It’s probably this race because it’s the craziest thing.
Timo:大概就是今年的勒芒了,就像我剛才說的那樣,開局不錯,之后落到隊尾,但最終贏得了比賽。這可能是最不可思議的事情。(從故障修復后全場第54位,一直上到第一位)我們贏得了意想不到的冠軍,具有非常特殊的意義,印象最深刻的可能就是這場比賽了,因為這是一場最瘋狂的比賽。

Q: Yes! It’s very crazy and I couldn’t sleep the whole night . I just watched the screen in the Porsche Hospi to see your race. After Porsche quits WEC LMP1, which race will you attehd?
小丘:是的,很瘋狂,整晚上我都沒睡著,在保時捷VIP室盯著屏幕轉播看你比賽。保時捷退出WEC LMP1之后,你會參加什么比賽?
Timo: At the moment, I will stay as a Porsche factory driver for sure next year. But the program isn’t fixed. I mean I wanna do more with my team so I need to see how it fits out. I mean definitely there’s nothing else at the moment than GT. But it’s good racing, a bit back to the rules but it will be on the other hand more exciting. Maybe I’ll do a couple of races with my team. We have to see how it works out but the program is not finalized yet, just have to wait a little bit longer.
Timo:從目前情況來看,我明年肯定會繼續做保時捷的工廠車手,但具體的項目還沒有定下來。我想和我們的團隊一起做更多的事情,一切還要看事情進展如何。就目前保時捷賽車運動來看,沒有什么比GT系列賽更重要,這是很不錯的比賽,雖然有點墨守陳規,但它更令人興奮。我也許會帶著我們的團隊進行幾場比賽,但是這個計劃還沒有最后確定,還需要再等一段時間。

【Timo Bernhard】He is a Porsche factory driver. He started karting race at the age of 9. At the age of ten, he won the first title at the junior karting slalom.
1999年進入保時捷賽車運動體系成為青年車手,兩年后成為德國保時捷卡雷拉杯PCCD年度冠軍;2002年,21歲的他正式成為保時捷廠隊車手,并在當年就為保時捷拿下了勒芒24小時GT組別冠軍,也是從這時候開始,斬獲勒芒overall冠軍成為他職業生涯奮斗的最大目標之一;
In 1999, he became a Porsche Junior driver, and two year later was the winner of Porsche Carrera Cup Deutschland. In 2002, at the age of 21, he was just becoming a Porsche factory driver and won the 24 hours of Le Mans GT class champion for Porsche. At that moment he said he had to take an overall winner of Le Mans, because it was the biggest goal of his career.
2003年拿下職業生涯第一個overall冠軍——戴通那24小時。
In 2003 he won the Daytona 24h as his first overall champion.
2006-2008年駕駛LMP2組別戰車保時捷RS Spyder超越LMP1組別,拿下美洲勒芒系列11個overall冠軍。?
2006-2008 he drove Porsche RS Spyder (LMP2) and beyond LMP1 group, won the ALMS 11-time overall champion.
2010年圓夢勒芒,overall冠軍拿下!2014年成為WEC世界冠軍;2017年如愿為保時捷拿下第19個overall冠軍,就在上周末提前加冕2017年WEC世界冠軍。他是紐伯格林的常勝將軍,5個紐伯格林24h和3個WEC紐伯格林6h的overall冠軍;戴通那、賽百靈、奧斯汀、上賽、富士、墨西哥、勒芒、紐伯格林等等等等,都有他征服的印記。他是世界的冠軍、是小丘的男神、是車隊的老板、是保時捷的——Timo Bernhard——作為廠隊車手的這16年來,他在2013年斬獲了保時捷賽車運動中的每個級別的冠軍頭銜。
In 2010, his dream came true! His first overall win at Le Mans with Romain Dumas and Mike Rockenfeller. In 2014 he became World Endurance Drivers Champion. In 2017, he won his second Le Mans overall win and claimed the 19th overall win for Porsche. He was crowned champion in every category of Porsche’s motor racing pyramid. It was Timo Bernhard who carried the first function test phase, he assisted the Porsche 919 Hybrid.
